Mine/UXO Clearance

Highly Skilled Professionals

RONCO has a core group of approximately sixty full-time professionals working exclusively on humanitarian demining programs. All are carefully screened and selected based on their technical skills, experience, and the ability to transfer those attributes to the client. Their average tenure with RONCO is six years. RONCO’s low personnel turnover comes from the ability to attract quality professionals who seek work that effectively integrates the best mine clearance technology available, provides unparalleled safety standards, and relies on quality leadership and management at all levels.

All of RONCO’s Demining Team Leaders and EOD/Demining Specialists are graduates of the United States Military Ordnance Disposal Course or of sister schools in Canada, the United Kingdom, or other locations. Our medics are former military experienced in dealing with field trauma resulting from mines and other explosive devices. Our Planners are from the senior ranks of the U.S. military and other government agencies. All have designed and managed major programs. Our Logistics Specialists have worldwide experience assembling and moving material, including explosives and other hazardous goods and personnel in and around difficult environments. Our dog handlers/trainers have been associated with the evolution of our Mine Detecting Dogs (MDDs) for the past twelve years. Without exception, all personnel are selected and retrained not only on the basis of their technical competence but also their ability to transfer that competence to others.
