Security Services

For the past 25 years, RONCO has operated in complex, post-conflict environments throughout the world. Our extensive operational expertise in these environments is the foundation for the development of RONCO’s Security Services Division. This division was formed in 2003 to respond to the security needs of our own humanitarian mine action programs in Afghanistan and Iraq; it expanded in 2005 to support other external clients requiring specialized technology, such as explosive detection dogs, with the added value of reputable management services.

The Security Services Division operates under RONCO’s overarching fundamental principle—all of our work takes into account, and seeks to improve and develop, the capabilities and capacities of personnel, institutions, and organizations in the host nation. In fact, in all of our security-related undertakings, as is the case for our other divisions, we seek to provide real opportunities and, where appropriate, strive to strengthen the host country’s national and regional capacities through the development of a more capable indigenous capacity.

RONCO also provides on-the-ground management staff to each of its security projects, which are often complex and sensitive undertakings, even with our extensive international experience and thorough understanding of successfully managing operations. As a result, we strive to decentralize our operations to the greatest extent possible, fully empowering our management personnel and providing them with quality home office services and support on a continuous basis. RONCO, in short, takes great pride in its ability to plan, implement, and manage complex security operations.
